Terinisha Vann

Foster Care Adoption Supervisor

As the Foster Care Adoption Supervisor, Terinisha Vann oversees our foster care coordinators, receives emergency placement calls and emails, and makes sure every home is running as smoothly as possible. Terinisha’s degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University prepared her to work for Child Protective Services before finding her career at Arms Wide.

Why I started with Arms Wide Adoption Services:

I worked for CPS for nine years and had a great experience in that position. However, I wanted to see the other side of the process at a Child Placement Agency.

My favorite part about my job:

I love building relationships with the families and kids I work with. And I’m so grateful for the support team and my supervisor here at Arms Wide.

My least favorite part:

Paperwork.

More about me:

I’m a proud mom to a wonderful 13-year-old. However, I have more love to give and I’m interested in adoption. I hope to foster-to-adopt one day. And I love home décor—everything from designing new looks for my house to shopping for the supplies.
