Information Meeting– Families Open to Priority Needs (Greater Houston and South Texas/Corpus Christi Areas)

Are you open to parenting the children who need you the most through fostering or foster care adoption? Join us for our upcoming Information Meeting to learn more about the current needs of children in care and how Arms Wide may support you in becoming a foster or adoptive parent.

Arms Wide Adoption Services is actively supporting potential foster and adoptive families who are able to meet  priority needs, including:

  • Kinship families parenting children related to them, and placed in their care by CPS
  • Families open to parenting sibling groups of 3 or more children, through either fostering or adoption
  • Families open to parenting 1 or more teenagers
  • African American families hoping to parent African American children through fostering or adoption

If you’d like to learn more, participating in an Information Meeting is the first step. During the Information Meeting, an Arms Wide Coordinator will walk you through the process of fostering or adopting a child or children in foster care and answer all of your questions.

Join our online Virtual Information Meeting from the comfort of your own home or workplace! Review the schedule of dates below and click “sign up” to begin.  After signing up for your preferred date, you will receive an email with the Zoom link for the meeting (email will come from alerts@extendedreach.com). You will be able to join the Zoom meeting from your own laptop, desktop or other internet equipped device at the specified day and time.  We look forward to meeting you!
