Do you have a passion for ensuring all children—especially our children who are Black–receive the love, safety, and permanency that they deserve?

Do you feel it is unjust that children who are Black are disproportionately impacted by the Texas foster care system—entering care more often, staying longer, and being less likely to be cared for by a family that understands and supports their identity and connection to community?

Are you interested in learning how you can address this issue by stepping up to foster or adopt the children who need you the most?

If so, we invite you to join our Village–a community committed to positively changing outcomes for Black children in foster care.

Join us for our first It Takes a Village Information Meeting, where we will walk families through the process of fostering or adopting a child or children in foster care and answer all of your questions about the needs of our children for safe and nurturing families.

If you have any questions, please contact Ashley Sims at asims@armswide.org.
