Kiki & Joy (13 & 14) are part of our child-focused recruitment program, which provides intensive social work services to find the best adoptive family for children by exploring all facets of the kids’ family, school, and friendship circles, as well as recruiting potential families from the broader community.
Today in Texas, there are more than 7,000 children in foster care waiting for an adoptive family, including Kiki and Joy. Could you be the family they are waiting for?
FOX 26 recently featured the sisters in one of its Finding Families segments.
Does their separation in care break your heart like it does ours? We got especially emotional when Kiki said this:
“I want to be like a regular kid. Like some girls have sleepovers, I want to have sleepovers. I’ve never had a sleepover before.”.
Some other facts:
Kiki & Joy
- They have been in foster care since they were two and three years old.
