Meet Our Kids: Dai-Ren

Dai-Ren (14) is part of our child-focused recruitment program, which provides intensive social work services to find the best adoptive family for a child by exploring all facets of the child’s family, school, and friendship circles, as well as recruiting potential families from the broader community.

Today in Texas, there are more than 6,000 children in foster care waiting for an adoptive family, including Dai-Ren. Could you be the family they are waiting for?

FOX 26 recently featured Dai-Ren in one of its Finding Families segments. You can view his segment here.

Did your heart melt when Dai-Ren says all he wants is a family who will spend time with him? It melted ours! Maristel Aguilar, the recruiter and adoption coordinator for Dai-Ren said:

“What I love most about Dai-Ren is his heart. He really cares about people – especially those around him. A family would be lucky to have him because of his heart. He’s also adventurous and loves trying new things!”
