Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster parent and for considering a partnership with Arms Wide. There’s nothing we love more than working with foster families in order to help even more children in foster care gain the safety, stability and love that every child needs and deserves.

At Arms Wide, we know that opening your heart and home to a child or children in need can come with unique challenges. That’s why our Greater Houston team embraces each family with warmth and compassion and holds their hand through the foster care process.

There are more than 20,000 children in the foster care system in the state of Texas at any time. Arms Wide’s mission is to transform the lives of children in need of an adoptive family.  But we can’t accomplish our mission without you – loving adults who want to provide a safe and loving home for children in need. We hope you will take the first step towards becoming a foster parent and attend one of our upcoming Information Meetings.

Arms Wide is here to answer any questions about foster care that you have before beginning your journey. Give us a call to speak to a staff member today: 713.681.6991

Our Foster Care Program

At Arms Wide, our biggest priority is that both families and children receive the highest quality services and support during this life-changing journey.

It Takes a Village

Black children are overrepresented in foster care. It Takes a Village improves this outcome by matching children with culturally competent, nurturing families and providing services that strengthen forever families.
